What makes an Usher?

Act as representatives of
Christ, your church, and
your pastor.

Provide reassurance that
supplements what occurs
during the service.

Are resourceful and able to
adequately and quickly
address any situation that
arises.

Cannot be replaced
because their role stands,
regardless of a service's
structure.

Two areas of concentration:

the seating and the service.

What makes a Greeter?

Must be people lovers who enjoy
making people feel welcome.

Must have a passion of planting
the Gospel
in their community.

Must be persistent.

Must be people of prayer.

Primary importance: a smile, eye contact, and a name.
