The Apostles’ Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; he descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.

Fall Sermon Series

In Luke's introduction to his Gospel, he gave his purpose for writing:  "so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught" (Luke 1:4).  Luke wrote his Gospel to give his readers an authentic and trustworthy portrait of Jesus.  He wanted his audience to trust in Christ.  Over the next nine months we are going to spend most of our Sundays getting to know Jesus through the Gospel of Luke.  As those who gather in his name, let's spend the coming months re-acquainting ourselves with the Son of God.  In the age of different religions and belief systems are readily available, why should Jesus command our trust and obedience?  Why is he worthy of following?  Why is he exclusively worthy of our worship?  This Sunday we begin our engagement with the greatest story ever told.  If you give God your Sundays, if you make a commitment to being with your church family over the coming months, I can promise you that you'll see changes in your life.  See you Sunday?
