Walk Closely with Your God

Written by

Dear Church,

I pray you are walking closely with Jesus and that your fellowship is sweet. I pray that you are well and that God is glorified through you. Thank you for all you do in the name of our Lord Jesus and all the ways you show his love to others.

The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace

Numbers 6:24-26

We’d love to have you join us!  Cost is approximately $1,300 which includes airfare, all ground transportation, room & board, and 3 meals a day. MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING BEGINNING!  2nd Wednesday of the Month at 6:30 P.M. in the Fellowship Hall

Join me for a time of interceding for our nation, for our community, for our church and for one another. We will meet with the Lord in worship and then bring our requests before the throne of grace. Our first meeting is this coming Wednesday, Feb 10 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

BUILDING PROGRESS

The building remains ahead of schedule and under budget. Please keep praying for the workers safety. Please keep asking the Lord to bless our second year fundraising goal. Thank you for your faithful giving. If you haven’t made a pledge or a contribution please consider giving to the building fund (see different giving options and anonymous giving information at www.bringinglifeproject.org). Walking around the 2nd floor this morning had me dreaming of the future! What a great tool we’ll have for ministry! Here’s some photos on the upstairs progress:

NEW MEMBERS WELCOME March 7

Living Water hit a milestone in our history as recently as our membership reached 200 people. During the March 7 services we’ll acknowledge and officially welcome those who have become members of the church over the last year.  If you are interested in joining the church please contact Pastor Bo This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to RSVP for the next membership class.

ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING March 7

Our Annual Business Meeting will be IN-PERSON on Sunday, March 7. We’ll be voting on the 2021/22 church budget and electing church offices. If Living Water is your church you are invited to attend – we’re happy to have you!  We understand that some members might not be able to physically attend the meeting, so we will likely have a means for you to participate remotely. The current plan is to have the meeting after the 2nd Worship service. We likely won’t have a potluck this time around so we’re talking about options for food.

CONVERGE ROCKY MOUNTAIN TOGETHER TO TRANSFORM CONFERENCE March 13

Living Water is affiliated with a network of churches known as Converge Worldwide (https://www.converge.org) and our regional network is known as Converge Rocky Mountain (https://www.convergerockymountain.org/). Our regional conference is taking place virtually on Saturday, March 13. We usually send a couple church members as delegates to the meeting, but this year everything is online. Would you like to be a delegate representing Living Water at the business meeting? You’ll likely get a Zoom invite. If so please contact Janice at the office. 589-6351 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. We need to have our delegates selected by next week so they can send out hard copies of the budget and other motions to the delegates.

PHISHING WARNING

On Tuesday someone sent out an email supposedly from me (Jeron) asking people to contact them. If you respond they will ask you to buy gift cards or money from you for “ministry.”  It’s a scam.  If you got such a message please report it.  Phishing definition: “The fraudulent practice of sending emails purporting to be from reputable companies or people in order to induce individuals to reveal personal information, such as passwords and credit card numbers.”

GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP SERVICE April 2

EASTER WORSHIP SERVICES April 4

I’m so excited about Easter this year!  I’m praying it will mark a turning point in our world.  Please start praying about who you will invite to Easter Worship Services on April 4th at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 am. Nursery available at 9:30 and 11:00. Services will be a bit shorter so we will keep the kids in the services with parents – children’s ministry will resume on April 11.

BAPTISM SUNDAY April 11

Baptism is a sign of one’s repentance and faith.  It is an act in which you publicly declare your trust and allegiance to Jesus.  Ideally it should happen soon after a person has made the decision to follow Jesus. Have you started following Jesus but haven’t yet been baptized?  The next baptisms will take place Sunday, April 11. Please contact Pastor Jeron (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. / 589-6351) if you are ready to obey Jesus in this area, or if you have questions.

REIGN YOUTH GROUP Wednesdays 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

Reign meets each Wednesday night at 6:30pm in Reign Building (formerly known as the Cross Building) behind the Church. At the meetings the youth are encouraged to bring their friends to a night for social interaction, devotions, and a place they can get a godly perspective of issues they face on a day to day basis. The leaders of the youth have families of their own and can relate to the youth's life styles and questions. Youth Leaders, Cliff & Cari Kincannon 505-350-8748, help in this always challenging ministry as our youth face the ever present peer pressures in the schools and the extra-curricular activities around the community.

MEN’S BREAKFAST Thursdays at 6:00 a.m.

Join other guys for food, fellowship, time in the Word and prayer. Six o’clock Thursday mornings in the Fellowship Hall.

SUNDAY CHILDREN’S MINISTRY at 10:45 a.m.

Parents, when you come to the 10:45 service, arrive a bit early to check in your kids. For check in, there are three kiosks in the main building (outer lobby, inner lobby and by west double doors) that you can use (we will seek to clean these often, but if you prefer a physical sign in on paper, there will be a clipboard on the lobby table).  If your kids haven’t participated in our children’s ministry before, allow a bit more time to get registered – or simply register your kids right now through this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeKcvQV-Vi0u2bSAW_kcmCswbRnYR0FjOZvW08pQL7FYEIhDg/viewform?usp=sf_link
