Hi Church!Written by Jeron Parkins
I hope your heart is with the Lord and you are walking with him today.
May this season be filled with people returning to the Lord and his worship and may this be a time when many come under his reign as they hear and respond to the gospel.
One of the ways you might start a God conversation at work, or school or with family is to ask what people are doing for Easter or what their Easter traditions are. You might find that some consider themselves Christians but haven’t attended a church service in years and have drifted from worshiping Jesus. You might find some who usually attend a service but aren’t planning to this year because of Covid (please tell them about our Live Stream option – info is at the end of this email). Perhaps some will say they never do anything for Easter but ask you about your plans or they might ask you what you believe. Maybe they know you are a Christian but the subject has never come up and you initiating a conversation might open the door for you to tell them about the hope that you have. If the Spirit leads, feel free to invite folks to our Easter Worship Services. Keep praying and looking for opportunities! God can use you to bring people to himself!
SATURDAY MASK ONLY SERVICE at 6:00 p.m. ***With people getting vaccinated we are seeing lower attendance on Saturday evenings as people start to attend Sunday mornings, therefore the Saturday Service is coming to an end this Saturday March 27. Since the Saturday service started in July we’ve had many people help out and make it possible: Thanks especially to Pastor Luke, The Bertin Family, Coleen Christensen, Dr. Terri Reisner and Mark Harmon for your faithful service. Thanks also to the Deacons who came every Saturday and helped with Communion.*** If we start a third service in the Fall it will likely be on a Sunday.
SUNDAY at 9:00 a.m. NURSERY
SUNDAY at 10:45 a.m. NURSERY, CHILDREN’S MINISTRY, and TEEN STUDY

There will be two options: Passion of the Christ will be shown in the Sanctuary on the big screen and at the same time movies for kids will be offered in the Sprung Building (VeggieTales Easter Carol will be followed by The Miracle Worker). If you would like to help set up the Family Team is meeting tonight around 7:00 pm in the Sprung Building and then moving to the Sanctuary.
GOOD FRIDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, APRIL 2
We call the day of Jesus’ arrest, suffering, and death “Good Friday” because of what Jesus accomplished through his sacrificial work on the cross. Come and worship the Savior on Friday night, April 2 at 7:00 p.m.
RESURRECTION SUNDAY SERVICES April 4
Please start inviting people to Easter Worship Services on April 4th at 8:00, 9:30 or 11:00 am. Nursery available at 9:30 and 11:00. Services will be a bit shorter so we will keep the kids in the services with parents – children’s ministry will resume on April 11.
BASKETS OF HOPE PROJECT
This Easter Season Living Water’s Mission Team is joining with our Missionaries Wendell and Heather Garrison (serving with SOAR International Ministries) in their Baskets of Hope project. The goal is to love and share the gospel with impoverished and orphaned children in Russia and Abkhazia. Easter is the most significant religious holiday in Russia. This special season provides a unique opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection with an amazingly receptive audience. During the Easter season, SOAR delivers hundreds of gift-filled Baskets (i.e. tote bags, backpacks, etc.) and Bibles to at-risk children. Go to www.soarinternational.org where you can donate. $40 covers a basket.

MISSIONS at Living Water
The Mission of the LWBF Mission Board is to spread the gospel of Christ and equip disciples to be effective witnesses of the gospel at home and abroad. As a church we support 13 missionary couples/families at locations around the world. We encourage you to get involved with our missionaries and look into opportunities to partner with them personally in their gospel work. Recently, after more than a year of careful consideration, outside feedback, and a survey trip, our Mission Board has embarked on a more intensive partnership with our missionaries in Granada, Nicaragua, Scott & Jennifer Esposito. We anticipate seeing our people developed and equipped as disciples as we take multiple trips to Nicaragua to invest in the ongoing ministries of R.E.A.P Granada. Please check out the Webpage to sign up for more information and please consider joining us in prayer this Friday night.
