Growth Groups
Growth Groups are a vital part of spiritual growth and connection, providing a place where individuals can build meaningful relationships, study God’s Word together, and encourage one another in faith. They create a supportive environment where people are known, cared for, and challenged to live out their beliefs in practical ways. In these smaller, close-knit gatherings, members can pray together, serve one another, and walk through life’s joys and struggles side by side—helping the church become not just a place you attend, but a family you belong to.
LOVING GOD
In our Growth Groups, we want to grow first and foremost in our love and devotion toward God. This relationship is primary and effects all other relationships. Jesus tells us that loving God is the greatest commandment, and it, therefore, deserves the greatest attention. We were made to know and love God; Community Groups strive toward that end.
LOVING BELIEVERS
As Christians, we want to be disciples who make disciples. Discipleship is simply following Christ and helping others to do the same. We think that happens best in community. Community Groups are a good place for you to follow Jesus and help others follow Him as well.
LOVING THE LOST
Jesus tells His followers to make disciples of all nations. That means that we are all involved in making disciples in the local context in which we live. Community Groups do this by meeting in homes, inviting others to join, and being intentionally involved in our neighborhoods. Community Groups serve, meet needs, and live with the mindset of being missionaries in Alamosa
